Unlock the complete digital experience during your visit to National Gallery Singapore with our official companion app. This app offers immersive, self-guided audio tours of our long-term displays and special exhibitions for both adults and children. Through the app, you will gain unique insights into the largest public collection of modern Singapore and Southeast Asian art, as well as the historical monuments that house them.
Simple and Easy to Use:
- A newly refreshed user interface enhances the user experience, making it easier to navigate and find what you are looking for at the Gallery.
- Find listings for current and upcoming exhibitions, events, and dining options to plan your visit effectively.
- Scan QR codes displayed alongside artworks to unlock rich insights about each piece.
- Listen to audio stops by simply lifting your phone to your ear, eliminating the need for external earphones (video content still requires earphones).
64,000 Sqm of Art, Dining, and Retail:
- An isometric map clearly marks each exhibition location across all 6 floors of the Gallery, encompassing both the Supreme Court Wing and City Hall Wing. This aids in navigating the impressive 64,000 sqm museum.
- Indulge in a range of meticulously curated dining and retail options, including the Museum Shop & Café and Odette, a 2-Michelin-starred restaurant by Chef Julian Royer.
Immersive Audio Tours for Everyone:
- An audio tour accompanies each long-term display (Siapa Nama Kamu? and Between Declarations and Dreams) as well as any special exhibitions on display.
- Embark on the Building History Tour to travel back in time and learn about the illustrious past of the Gallery. This tour delves into the history of the former City Hall and Supreme Court, which now house the largest public collection of modern art in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
- In addition, two kid-friendly tours have been curated to engage young visitors by taking them on an audio adventure across the two long-term displays.
Unrealised:
- Conceptualized as an extension to our long-term displays, the Gallery Explorer app allows visitors to unlock additional experiences.
- Experience the works of three artists—Heman Chong, Ho Tzu Nyen, and Erika Tan—by scanning the QR codes when you encounter them.
Save Your Favorite Artworks:
- Create an Explorer account on the app or our website to save your favorite artworks from our online collection and access them at any time.
- Interact with other visitors by leaving comments on these artworks.
